Below is a video titled "The Future of Dance" that stars a preschool classroom.  It started out to be a preschool American Idol, but the children were too shy in front of the camera and decided to dance instead.

The video below is a preschool child using the Tag Reading System.  This is an educational tool that helps children with emerging literacy skills.

Inspiring Innovative and Creative Learning in a Controversial World

In early childhood, use of technology in the classroom is very controversial.  My challenge was to find ways to use technology in ways that created a balance for students between the hands-on learning they need and the use of technology.  The technologies that are now available to early childhood students are really an excellent way to enhance the curriculum.  Below are some technology and projects that were used in the classroom over the course of my MEd.
 - Creating movies with preschool students with the use of Flip Camcorders
 - Use of digital cameras to make real-world curriculum supplies
 - Preschool based websites and software
 - BeeBots
 - iPod Touch
 - Leapsters
 - Tag Reading Systems
 - CDs, MP3s, iPods and other music devices

At the current school where I am the executive director, there is not much technology used within the curriculum.  I hope to implement more technology for the new school year that begins in August 2011.  Below are three spreadsheets that outline some technology goals that I would like to implement at the preschool
